Some of the core principles behind this child care program are "commitment to excellence," "relationships," "integrity," and "teamwork." Their mission is to help the children find an outlet to go to for their problems and answers. The kids seem to have a blast! The parents even are refreshed and grateful for the great quality child care. Stay tuned for more updates and more information!
In the selected book entitled, "The Child Care Problem: An Economic Analysis," David M. Blau introduces the actual problem in chapter one. Blau starts off by stating how how, "the child care problem endangers the well being of children, causes financial hardships, and stress for families..," (Blau, D., 2001). David M. Blau also states how there are several problems that lead to the huge economic ones. One problem is the low quality of the childcare, but despite many complaints made for this, no one is willing to comply and pay more. However, the main problem stems from the market failure with child care being, "...fragmented, poorly financed and hard to find. Its quality has declined over the past decade," (Blau, D., 2001). This will help fight expensive child care, because some of the community service and fund raisers presented by this club can actually have a part in child care. So far, the club has nominated and voted for positions within the group. The club has also began to formulate ideas on what the first project shall be. The new committee have already practically completed the assigned project and the group is scheduled to present as soon as next week. Stay tuned for more updates and more information!
