According to this article from the Washington Post, in Great Britain the number of child care centers has not budged in the past decade, despite the growing population. This comes as a concern for them, as they demand for cheaper day care.In Great Britain, this has accumulated into a huge problem considering now that their are waiting lists that never seem to end for these child care centers. This poses a similar threat to the United States. This article states how, "About 56 percent of daycare centers in Colorado accept subsidies," (Paquette,2015). Therefore, this article does give America a model to look at to see how both the United States economy might turn towards along with how many child care facilities will be open.
